We Wrapped, We Moved, We Unwrapped. We Wrapped, We Moved, We Unwrapped.
yellow cloth, stools
The bottari (meaning bundle in Korean) is a way of wrapping objects with square pieces of cloth ahead of a journey in Korean culture. The lack of object inside the yellow bottari along with the prepared pile of square cloth, shifts the focus from the protection and concealment of these belongings, onto the actions of wrapping and the rituals that someone goes through to be able to make a new life in another place.
