Chemtrails Over The Country Club features eleven songs, including singles "Let Me Love You Like A Woman" and the title-track "Chemtrails Over The Country Club". My favorite, though, probably is "Yosemite", which is one of the few songs where an acoustic guitar is allowed to step forward.The honorable / good songs for me are: "White Dress", which in its airy and very slow arrangement brings to mind Big Star's "Sister Lovers" album. The highlight for me is the inclusion of the remix CD, since her remixes are almost impossible to get on CD.

Although I had to wait for over a month for it to arrive, due to design issues, it was definitely worth the wait!I was also disappointed that the cd itself had a poor insert with the words of the songs difficult to read--no pictures or photos to add to the whole experience! Plus, they are the perfect size and I think the Honeymoon Photos are without doubt my favourite of Lana. Lots of people don’t seem to like this album but I think it’s beautiful- very calming, and ethereal in places. I think though maybe that because I'm so familiar with all her previous albums that I'm not giving this new cd a fair hearing-- I suspect that for me it's a slow burner and that I'll end up loving it. Her music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia, with frequent references to contemporary pop culture and 1950s–1960s Americana.
