Bojagi

Uncategorized

One of the things I’ve been working on is some experiments with Bojagi – korean wrapping cloths. They are made like patchwork quilts but use French seam stitch to make them reversible. I’ve used silk for this one as the making involves lots of folding and finger pressing which silk works very well with.

I also spent some time on dye experiments with my heat press and folding techniques which have been interesting. The idea is to incorporate dyeing and folding with the bojagi… Looking forward to where this takes me!
