Muslin Experiments


Thinking about folding paper as a way of changing the memory of a material, I wanted to play around with the idea of transience and how, with paper, the result of this action is harder to reverse but not with something like cloth.

These photographs are of two metres of unbleached muslin, unrolled then soaked in a bath of starch then folded while wet and left to dry before being unfolded.
